Today in Lahore, the city experienced extremely hot and humid weather conditions, as reported by meteorological authorities.
The Meteorological Office anticipated continued similar weather patterns, with a possibility of scattered rainfall later in the night. Experts noted that weak moist currents originating from the Arabian Sea were affecting central regions of Pakistan, alongside a shallow westerly wave influencing the northern parts.
They forecasted isolated windstorms, thunderstorms, and rainfall in various areas including Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pothohar region, Punjab, and northeast Baluchistan. In contrast, other parts of the country were expected to continue experiencing hot and humid weather.
Rainfall during the day was recorded in Dir, Bannu, and Jhelum. Lahore's temperatures ranged between 26°C and 37°C, with the likelihood of showers increasing towards evening, accompanied by rising cloud cover. The weather felt warmer than indicated temperatures, with humidity levels recorded at 47%. Winds blowing from the southwest reached speeds of 25 km/h.
