Three sisters without a brother from the last village in Pakistan, Askole, have completed their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from top notch organizations in Pakistan.
According to family sources, it’s been revealed that all sisters have been enthusiastic and keen learners since childhood.
Additionally, the sources further added that Amsal Shigri, Anum Shigri, and Zeemal Shigri are currently doing their housework in their respective fields.
Moreover, Amsal, an elder among all her sisters, did her MBBS from Baqai Medical University and got married to an officer in the Pakistan Army.
As well as, she cracked the FCPS Part I exam right after her house job and then started her residency in the capital of Pakistan.
Apart from that, the other two younger sisters, Anum and Zeemal, recently completed their medical studies from Dow Medical University, and she is a house officer at Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi.
The family sources have further claimed interesting facts about their parents, who belong to the last remote valley of Pakistan; they migrated to Karachi from the last corner of the world and took permanent settlement in the metropolis.
The girl’s respected father, Asghar Ali Shigri, is now currently serving as a professor and HOD at Baqai Medical University's (BMU) Community Dentistry Department.
On the other hand, their mother, Shama Asghar, is serving as a professor and head of the Department of Operative Dentistry at Bahria University Health Sciences (BUDC).
Interestingly, the parents of the children told me that without any relation or family matching, they got married and had a happy married life.
The first three doctors from the last village, Askole, have dedicated their academic milestones to their parents for providing them with such a quality environmenat as other parents have not done so.
However, when MBBS doctors were asked about their ideal personalities, they named their parents.
The young doctors have also shown greatness in serving marginalised communities through their respective capabilities.
Furthermore, they have also a special place in their hearts for their village; they belong despite the tough situation in the valley and their keen interest in working in these areas in the near future.
