YouTube has acknowledged that a bug in its Android app causes the bottom navigation bar to disappear for some users. The issue first surfaced in the United States and has since affected users in Europe, India, and other regions.

The bug removes essential buttons at the bottom of the screen, such as Subscriptions, Notifications, and Library. Without these buttons, users struggle to navigate between key sections of the app. YouTube has confirmed the issue and stated that its technical teams are actively investigating it, although they have not yet provided a fix.

Users have attempted various troubleshooting methods, including clearing the app cache, reinstalling the application, and switching accounts. However, these efforts have not produced a consistent solution. Some users have resorted to temporary workarounds, such as using direct links or voice commands to navigate different sections of the app.

YouTube has not yet provided a timeline for resolving the app bug. The platform encourages affected users to monitor its official community channels for updates.
