WhatsApp Business to roll out AI-powered messaging

WhatsApp Business to roll out AI-powered messaging

WhatsApp is preparing to roll out a groundbreaking AI-powered feature for users of its Business app, aiming to revolutionize customer support and engagement.

According to WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned platform will soon enable businesses to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to manage customer messages when human teams are unavailable. This ensures uninterrupted support, improving the overall customer experience.

When businesses activate the AI feature, customers are notified within the chat, clearly stating they are interacting with an AI system. This transparency fosters trust and strengthens relationships, helping businesses grow. The AI system provides accurate responses to queries and efficiently assists customers throughout the purchasing process.

This update addresses a significant limitation faced by businesses: They couldn’t previously manage their WhatsApp accounts directly via the mobile app.

Now, businesses can seamlessly access and manage their accounts through the WhatsApp Business app and the business platform by scanning a Quick Response (QR) code.

Meta has also prioritized security for this feature, ensuring that all one-on-one chats are managed within a secure environment to maintain data protection and trust.

Availability The AI-powered feature is currently being tested by a limited number of beta users. However, it is expected to roll out to a wider audience soon, offering businesses a powerful tool to enhance customer service and drive growth.

This innovative feature reflects WhatsApp’s commitment to empowering businesses with modern tools to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
