Span Cyber Security Arena 2026 set to redefine global cyber defense

Sami Laiho and Joe Tidy Among leading experts offering strategic guidance on 2025 Cyber threat landscape

Span Cyber Security Arena 2026 is poised to become a flagship international forum dedicated to advancing cybersecurity expertise and resilience against emerging digital threats.

Scheduled from May 20 to 22, 2026, at the prestigious Pical Resort 5 Valamar Collection*, the conference promises a meticulously curated program of expert lectures, deep-dive presentations, case studies, and hands-on masterclasses designed to empower participants with practical, actionable cybersecurity strategies.

The event will feature some of the world’s foremost cybersecurity authorities, including Sami Laiho, a preeminent expert on Windows security.

Sami Laiho will deliver an incisive review of the 2025 cyber threat landscape and provide forward-looking insights to anticipate and counter future risks.

Joe Tidy, a BBC cybersecurity correspondent and author of “Ctrl+Alt+Chaos”, will explore the evolution of teenage hacking culture, mapping the trajectory from casual digital exploits in gaming and social media to highly sophisticated cyberattacks.

Masterclasses, held two days before the main conference, will offer attendees immersive, hands-on training and strategic tools applicable to real-world cyber defense environments.

The program will also address the practical implementation of the European Cybersecurity Act, emerging challenges and opportunities from EU certification frameworks, and other regulatory policies shaping the cybersecurity landscape.

Beyond technical expertise, the conference emphasizes the critical non-technical facets of cybersecurity, including risk management, organizational strategy, and regulatory compliance.

Last year’s edition attracted over 450 global participants, and the 2026 Arena aims to bring together a diverse audience ranging from cybersecurity specialists and legal professionals to C-level executives, offering a rich, multi-dimensional learning experience.

Span Cyber Security Arena 2026 aspires to strengthen global cyber defenses, foster cross-border collaboration, and equip participants with cutting-edge knowledge and skills to safeguard digital ecosystems, reinforcing both organizational resilience and international cybersecurity standards.
