Samsung has introduced the Galaxy M47, a new mid-range smartphone designed to deliver enhanced performance, extended battery life, and long-term software updates, as the company expands its M-series lineup.
The device builds on the design language of the Galaxy A27 but adds key upgrades, including a larger battery, faster charging capabilities, and bypass charging support aimed at improving gaming efficiency and thermal management.
The Galaxy M47 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and improved visual performance. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, while a centered punch-hole cutout houses the front camera.
The phone is available in two color variants: Rogue Red and Blaze Blue.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB using UFS 3.1 technology.

The smartphone runs One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. Samsung has confirmed six years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, positioning the device for extended lifecycle support.
On the rear, the Galaxy M47 is equipped with a triple-camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.
For selfies and video calls, the device includes a 12MP front-facing camera integrated into the display cutout.
A key highlight of the device is its 6,000mAh battery, supported by 45W fast wired charging. The handset also includes bypass charging technology, allowing power to be drawn directly from the charger during intensive use, reducing heat generation and battery stress.
The Galaxy M47 starts at approximately $243 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, targeting budget-conscious users seeking strong battery performance and long-term software support.
