Just two months after the highly anticipated launch of the iPhone 16 series, users have begun highlighting a persistent battery bug on social media platforms. Despite its grand debut, the iPhone 16 seems to have missed the mark for some users due to issues with battery life.
According to the reports, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro users have reported facing battery performance problems. The issue has become a trending topic on forums like Reddit and Apple’s support pages.
The source of the problem appears to be related to standby mode. "Reportedly, the battery bug gets activated only when the iPhone is put in standby mode, suggesting a background activity could be causing problems for some users." Although the exact battery consumption during rest mode remains unclear, it's believed that different apps are draining power at varying rates.
