With the match abandoned, both teams were awarded one point each. As a result, Peshawar Zalmi moved to second place on the points table with a total of three points.

On the other hand, Former Australian cricketer and Multan Sultans fast bowler Peter Siddle has said that he sees little difference between the Pakistan Super League and leagues played in Australia.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Siddle said he is thoroughly enjoying his experience in the PSL. He noted that with matches being held at only two venues, playing conditions remain largely consistent.
The former Australian pacer also praised emerging talent, stating that young players are performing impressively in the league and are likely to earn opportunities to represent Pakistan at the international level.
Siddle reiterated that the PSL is comparable to Australian leagues in terms of competitiveness and structure. He added that his passion for fast bowling and the desire to compete alongside top players continues to motivate him to stay active in the game.
