Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 has received a major boost as fans are officially set to return to the stadium for the grand final bringing back the electrifying atmosphere of live cricket.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, announced that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the presence of spectators for the much-anticipated PSL 11 final.
In a post on X, Mohsin Naqvi shared that he had personally requested the Prime Minister to allow fans inside the stadium, restoring the excitement and energy that only a packed crowd can create during a big final.
Dear cricket fans, I requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allow spectators in the stadiums. While he was also inclined to permit fans, he emphasized that austerity measures are currently in place across Pakistan, with efforts underway to minimize fuel consumption.

He added that while the Prime Minister was initially considering austerity measures across the country, including efforts to reduce fuel consumption, the passion of cricket fans and the request from franchise owners helped turn the decision in favour of the public.
Naqvi further stated that the Prime Minister graciously agreed to the proposal, officially greenlighting full fan attendance for the PSL 11 final.
Expressing his gratitude, he thanked the Prime Minister for this encouraging decision, calling it a positive step that will allow supporters to once again experience the thrill, emotion, and celebration of cricket’s biggest night live from the stadium.
