Pakistan’s cricket team will tour the West Indies for a two-Test series in July and August 2026, a Cricket West Indies (CWI) official has confirmed. The announcement was made by CWI vice-president Azim Bassarath.
Bassarath, who also serves as president of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board, shared the details during an executive luncheon at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain. He said the tour will take place from July 15 to August 7, 2026, and will be part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle.
Before the Test series begins, Pakistan will play a four-day warm-up match at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. The first Test will be held at Queen’s Park Oval, while the second Test will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
Speaking at the event, Bassarath confirmed that the Brian Lara Cricket Academy has now received full international accreditation, allowing it to host international matches in all formats.

The red-ball tour is in line with Pakistan’s Future Tour Programme, although the full match schedule has not yet been announced.
Pakistan and the West Indies have enjoyed closely contested Test series in recent years. The two teams last faced each other in a Test series in January this year, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Pakistan also toured the Caribbean for a Test series in 2021, and that series also finished level.
Earlier this year, Pakistan visited the West Indies for limited-overs matches, where the teams played three one-day internationals and three T20 internationals.
