Winning the toss, Pakistan elected to bat first and posted a competitive total of 303/6 in their 50 overs. Kamran Ghulam played a pivotal role with his maiden century, scoring 103 off 99 balls, which included 10 fours and four sixes. He was supported by Abdullah Shafique, who made 50 off 68 balls.
The partnership between Kamran and Rizwan added 89 runs, with Rizwan contributing 37 runs. Vice-captain Salman Ali Agha and Tayyab Tahir also chipped in with quick contributions, with Agha scoring 30 off 26 balls and Tayyab finishing with an unbeaten 29 off 16 balls.
In response, Zimbabwe’s chase was off to a rocky start, losing two wickets early and falling to 10/2 within three overs. Captain Craig Ervine fought back with a gritty half-century, making 51 off 63 balls, but his efforts were in vain as Zimbabwe could only manage 204 runs in their pursuit. Ervine added 41 runs for the fourth wicket with Sean Williams before falling to Aamir Jamal. Williams also made a valuable contribution with 32 runs.
Zimbabwe's batting struggled, despite Ervine’s resistance, and they were bowled out with nearly 100 runs still required. Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarava each took two wickets, while Blessing Muzarabani and Faraz Akram each claimed one.
Pakistan's bowling attack, led by Aamir Jamal, Haris Rauf, and Faisal Akram, was instrumental in dismantling Zimbabwe’s top order. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the team for their impressive performance in the final match.
