Speaking during the post-match press conference in Bulawayo, following Pakistan’s series win, Kamran reflected on his career milestones. He credited his debut century against England for boosting his confidence, noting that his latest century against Zimbabwe further strengthened his self-belief.
"My role is to perform. For me, continuous hard work is vital, and I trust that success will follow," Kamran remarked.
He shared that his previous experience touring Zimbabwe with the Pakistan Shaheens had familiarized him with the conditions, which contributed to his strong performance in the series.
Kamran also acknowledged the support of captain Mohammad Rizwan during his innings. "Having Rizwan at the other end made the task easier, especially since the pitch was challenging at the start. His encouragement motivated me to keep going," he said.
