A wave of grief swept through the Bangladesh Premier League as Dhaka Capitals coach Mehboob Ali tragically passed away after suffering a heart attack during a routine training session.

According to Bangladeshi media, the heartbreaking incident occurred just hours before the scheduled match, when Mehboob Ali was guiding players through their preparations on the ground. What began as a normal training session suddenly turned tragic as he collapsed after experiencing a cardiac arrest.

Team staff and medical personnel rushed to his aid, and CPR was immediately administered on the field in a desperate attempt to save his life.

He was swiftly taken to the hospital by ambulance, but despite all efforts, doctors pronounced him dead.

The sudden loss has left players, officials, and fans in shock, casting a deep shadow over the Bangladesh Premier League.

Mehboob Ali was known for his dedication, passion, and commitment to nurturing players, making his passing an immense loss to the Dhaka Capitals and the cricketing community.

The tragedy unfolded ahead of the Bangladesh Premier League fixture between Dhaka Capitals and Rajshahi Warriors, scheduled to be played in Sylhet, turning what was meant to be a day of competition into one of mourning.
