Sharmila Faruqui has spoken out about Ayeza Khan. Known for her candid opinions and bold remarks on social media controversies, the politician didn’t hold back this time either. As discussions around Danish Taimoor and Ayeza Khan’s Filhal controversy gained momentum, Sharmila Faruqui joined the conversation and shared her thoughts.

During her appearance on Har Lamha Purjosh, Sharmila Faruqui was asked about Danish Taimoor. She began by expressing sympathy for Ayeza Khan, calling her an innocent and decent woman. Sharmila said she salutes Ayeza for sitting through the Filhal tirade delivered by her husband. She also addressed those questioning public reaction, stating her thoughts on why people feel the need to speak up—even if the couple themselves appear unbothered.

Sharmila Faruqui called Danish Taimoor’s statement disgusting. She said that “in our society, women are under pressure to take what their husbands are handing them. Ayeza Khan could not say anything as she was sitting on a live show. She might have said something at home. But Danish Taimoor should have been vigilant, and if he could not say something positive, he could have kept quiet.”
