Lately, actress Reema Khan has once again made headlines due to a fraud allegation. Shahid Rafique, an elderly man who used to work in Qatar, has reportedly filed fraud charges against her, claiming he invested in Reema Khan’s film “Love Main Gum”.
Shahid Rafique said, “I returned from Qatar to Lahore in 2009 to buy some property. I met Reema Khan’s sister, Maira Khan, who was a realtor. I discussed that I wanted to buy a plot, after which Maira told me to invest in Reema Khan’s film Love Main Gum; instead of buying a plot, she also assured me that I will get the profit. Maira also arranged my meeting with Reema after which I transferred them money. I also checked a few plots, which Maira refused to sell, and demanded more money for her sister’s film”.
Shahid Rafique further added, “Reema Khan also invited me to Malaysia, where the star cast was present for film shooting. I also stayed in the same hotel; I got the film completed. They kept asking for more money; however, I was fed up with their demands, and I asked them to return my money, after which Reema made an agreement with me, but she didn’t pay me; I have all the proofs. She filed a case on me that I am a fraud. I have also filed a case that is in court, and Reema has been delaying the court proceedings. She is not appearing in court. It’s been four years; she’s been delaying it. I have trust in the courts, but they are delaying my case. Here is the link to the video:
