Recently, the acclaimed composer and singer made headlines for his strong statement about Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. In his post, he accused the legendary singer of failing to credit him for his composition "Zaroori Tha."

Recently, Sahir Ali Bagga appeared on the show “Coffee with Samaa”, hosted by Naeem Hanif and Bushra Khan. During the episode, he revealed that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan declined to sing his popular song "Mujhe Dushman Se Badla Lene Jana Hai."

Talking about the song, Sahir Ali Bagga said, “I was so devastated after the incident in which kids lost their precious lives. I made the song, it was sung by your friend Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. He also took the money. He received payment for the tribute song, but one day, he called and said, "Sorry, friend, I can't do it because I am afraid of singing it.". I then thought to do it differently, my son was constantly coming in my mind, also it was an incident in which kids like my son lost lives, so! I did it with him. I called my son and recorded it. When he was singing, I had tears in my eyes”. Here is the link to the video”
