Pakistani actress Sabeena Farooq has sparked a conversation with a recent cryptic post on social media, where she appeared to address the outdated mindsets of those who constantly criticize and compare their daughters-in-law. While Farooq didn’t mention anyone specifically, her pointed message resonated with many women facing similar societal pressures.

In her post, Sabeena seemed to take a stand against the unfair treatment of daughters-in-law. She called out those who enforce these backward ideas, emphasizing the need for change in how women are viewed and treated within family structures.

She expressed her concerns on her Instagram story in which she said “"Why are some celebs making bizarre statements about the 'right' and 'wrong' daughter-in-law, trying to enforce their outdated mindsets? You all are being very regressive. Sorry, not sorry. In these times, when so many girls are already sitting at home without prospects, don't set unnecessary standards or put such trivial ideas into people's minds."
