Talking about it, Ali said, "I try not to work with my father in the same drama, but if we get a chance to work together in a script, we’ve made a deal that we won’t look into each other’s eyes. In that case, we do a little bit of cheating. We recently did a serial together that had intense scenes, and it was quite difficult for me to act in front of him. I can’t do scenes with him because he has those big, expressive eyes, and it’s hard not to see him as my father rather than the character he’s playing. I have immense respect for my father, so I can’t argue with him on screen and otherwise."
