Shah Mahmood Qureshi gets peacock election symbol for Tharparkar constituency

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candiadiate Shah Mahmood Qureshi has been allotted the Peakock symbol for Tharparkar Constituency NA-214, Bol News reported on Monday.

Added to that, on NA-214, the PTI candidates Mehr un Nisa has been allotted an airplane symbol, while vice chairman PTI has a peacock.

As per Form 33 issued by the Returning Officer (RO), in the six constituencies of Tharparkar, election symbols have been issued to a total of 86 candidates, of whom on NA-214 eleven candidates have gotten symbols.

20 candidates have been allotted the symbol NA-215: 11 for PS 52, 14 for PS 53, 12 for PS 54, and 18 for PS 55.

Earlier, the PTI launched its campaign for the upcoming national-level polls a day after facing a setback in its efforts to retain the iconic electoral symbol ‘bat’ at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

A rally led by central leader Sher Afzal Marwat at Karachi’s Sea View beach on Sunday was attended a large of people.

Marwat addressing the gathering said that the fear of people has abolished and they would express their emotions on the day of February by casting votes in favour of the PTI.

He also announced a rally in Hyderabad tomorrow (Jan 15) and appeal the people to attend it.
