Public holiday announced on August 13 in Islamabad

Authorities in Islamabad have announced that Wednesday, August 13, 2025, will be a local holiday throughout the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

This holiday will apply within Islamabad’s revenue limits, but offices providing essential services like the Municipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI), Capital Development Authority (CDA), and ICT Administration will remain open.

Citizens and businesses are advised to plan accordingly since government offices and other non-essential departments will be closed that day.

The announcement is part of the administration’s efforts to offer relief and mark important occasions in the capital. Residents are encouraged to follow official updates from the Islamabad administration for more information.
