The Pakistani government announced a significant reduction in petrol and diesel prices effective June 15, 2024.
According to the announcement, petrol and diesel rates were decreased by up to Rs10 per litre just before Eid 2024.
Petrol Price in Pakistan June 2024
The petrol price was cut by Rs10.20 per litre, and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) slashed by Rs2.33 per litre. With big drop, the price of petrol has been set at Rs258.16 per litre while high-speed diesel (HSD) at Rs. 267.89 per litre.

The prices of petroleum products have decreased in the international market over the past two weeks.
This marks the second relief for consumers this month, as the federal government had reduced the petrol price in Pakistan by Rs. 4.74 per litre for the first half of June 2024.
