More rain-wind/thunderstorms are predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Sunday evening/night.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave conquers over the upper parts of Pakistan. It will probably continue during the next 24 hours.
Under the impact of these situations, rain-wind/thunderstorms are predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, northeastern Punjab, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Sunday evening/night. Windstorms/gusty winds are likely in plain areas.
On Monday and Tuesday, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in the twin cities and most parts of the country and extremely hot in the southern parts. Though, rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and connecting hilly areas.
Islamabad’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 35-37°C on Monday and Tuesday. Rawalpindi’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 33-35°C on Monday and 35-37°C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, hot and dry weather conquered over most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. However, rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper/central Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and north Balochistan.

Turbat persisted the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 44°C.
In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 35°C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 46 per cent. In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 34°C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 50 percent.
