Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) was confirmed in a patient under treatment at Fatima Jinnah Hospital in Quetta.
A 25 -year -old patient from Chaman, shifted in the Isolation Ward after confirming the Congo virus. This virus is transmitted primarily through ticks and livestock, and in some cases, human-to-human transmission can occur.
It should be noted that this year, the number of positive cases of Congo virus in Balochistan has increased to 4, one of which has passed away.
