Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has arrived in Islamabad for an official visit.
Upon his arrival at Nur Khan Airbase, he was warmly received by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also present.
During his stay, the Crown Prince will hold extensive discussions with Pakistan’s leadership to enhance economic and investment ties. Several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed to strengthen long-term cooperation across multiple sectors.
At the Prime Minister’s House, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was welcomed with traditional hospitality. A cultural troupe, dressed in attire representing all four provinces, performed to mark the occasion. Additionally, a contingent of the Pakistan Armed Forces presented a guard of honor.
The national anthems of both countries were played, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formally received the distinguished guest, introducing him to members of his cabinet.
