LONDON: Pakistani spinner Sajid Khan has been ruled out of the Pakistan Shaheens’ tour of England after sustaining an injury during a practice session in Tonbridge.
According to sources, Sajid suffered a fracture in his right thumb while training, which has forced him to withdraw from the squad. He is expected to return home on the first available flight.
As of now, the team management has not requested a replacement for the injured spinner.
It should be noted that the first ODI between Pakistan Shaheen and Professional County Club will be held (today) in Baknham.
