Tianjin, China: The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit concluded with a joint declaration strongly condemning recent terror incidents, including the Jaffer Express attack, the Khuzdar bombing, and the Pahalgam incident.

The declaration reaffirmed commitment to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and emphasized equal access to peaceful nuclear technology. SCO members also pledged to fully implement conventions on chemical and biological weapons.

The statement opposed unilateral economic sanctions and stressed the need to strengthen the multilateral trading system. Leaders agreed to enhance cooperation in the digital economy and e-commerce, while also announcing the establishment of the SCO Development Bank.

The participants reiterated their resolve to jointly combat terrorism, separatism, and extremism. The agreements were signed to expand cooperation under the Universal Security Center and Anti-Drug Center. Implementation of the SCO Counter-Terrorism Cooperation Program 2025–2027 was also endorsed.

The declaration condemned the Pahalgam, Jaffer Express, and Khuzdar attacks in the strongest terms. It further called for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Palestine and emphasized the urgent need for humanitarian assistance to affected civilians.
