ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has approved the inclusion of 24 names in the Exit Control List (ECL).
The Federal Cabinet approved through summary circulation of the Ministry of Interior Affairs and 24 names were approved to be placed in the ECL.
The Federal Cabinet has given its approval in light of the recommendations of the Sub-Committee on ECL.
Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) leader Babar Awan's name has been approved to be removed from ECL, Babar Awan's name was included in ECL in December 2023 due to Al Qadir Trust case.

Earlier, Founder Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) nominated Umar Ayub as Leader of the Opposition and Sher Afzal Marwat as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
Speaking to journalists in Adiala Jail, PTI founder Imran Khan said that there is no knowledge about the forward block of 40 MPs in Punjab.
He demanded that a re-inquiry should be conducted on Donald Lou’s statement. The American ambassador did not come to the jail to meet him. “If I meet the American ambassador, I will discuss Donald Lou’s statement and the role of the American embassy”.
