West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan, batting first, posted a competitive total of 178 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs.
Opener Saim Ayub led the charge with an impressive 57-run knock, while Fakhar Zaman contributed 28 runs to the total.
Meanwhile, Hassan Nawaz scored 24 runs while Fahim Ashraf scored 16 and Sahibzada Farhan scored 14. Captain Salman Ali Agha 11 and Mohammad Harris were unbeaten with 6 runs.
West Indies' Shamar Joseph took 3 wickets while holders, Aqeel Hussain and Shepherd took one each.
In reply, the West Indian team scored 164 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Pakistan's Mohammad Nawaz took 3, Saim Ayub 2 and Shaheen Afridi and Sufiyan Muqeem took one wicket each.
