The national team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, securing seven consecutive wins, including the final. In a dominant performance, Pakistan did not allow the Maldives to take the lead in any quarter of the match.

The Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship was played between eleven teams and was divided into two groups, Group A was ranked as the Gold Cup division.
Group-A; Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and India while Group B; Teams from Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Maldives and Saudi Arabia were involved.
