Islamabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued a reassuring statement for residents and investors of Bahria Town, confirming that their properties and investments remain safe.
In response to circulating rumors aimed at creating public unrest and manipulating property prices, NAB emphasized that these claims are part of a deliberate conspiracy. The bureau urged the public to disregard such misleading information.
NAB clarified that the ongoing investigations and actions are directed solely against the owners of Bahria Town and their properties, and do not affect the residents or other property owners. According to the statement, many residents themselves are victims of deception and fraud.
The bureau warned that legal actions will continue against Bahria Town’s owners until the embezzled funds are recovered.
NAB concluded by advising residents and investors to remain calm, ignore baseless rumors, and continue their lives without disruption.
