ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Wednesday issued the production orders of the arrested members of the National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI).
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq issued production orders for 10 arrested members of PTI. Production orders for Sher Afzal Marwat, Aamir Dogar, Ahmed Chatta, Zain Qureshi, Zubair Khan, Waqas Akram, Owais Haider, Ahad Ali Shah, Naseem Ali Shah and Yousuf Khan have been released.
The production order instructed that the police hand over the arrested members to the Sergeant-at-Arms before the session begins, and that the members be returned to police custody after the meeting is over.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gouhar also confirmed and said that Speaker National Assembly has issued production orders for PTI's arrested MNAs and all members will attend the House tomorrow.
On the other hand, the Speaker of the National Assembly formed a 4-member fact-finding committee to investigate the September 9 incident, which will be headed by the Additional Secretary and the committee includes Joint Secretary Arshad Ali and Rizwan Ullah.
Sources said that Acting Sergeant at Arms Raja Farhat Abbas is also included in the committee.
Sources said that the committee has been directed to submit the fact-finding report to the Speaker as soon as possible.
According to the sources, the committee is investigating the reasons behind the incident that took place on September 9, with whose permission did the police and security agencies enter the parliament.
It should be noted that two days ago the Islamabad police arrested the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf from inside and outside the parliament.
