KARACHI: A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) on Wednesday met with President Asif Zardari.
MQM-P delegation was led by it convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui while Dr Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal were also present in the meeting.
According to the spokesperson of the Chief Minister House, the MQM delegation congratulated Asif Ali Zardari on being re-elected as the President of the State, while the President thanked the MQM delegation for congratulating him.
The spokesman said that the MQM delegation had a discussion with President Asif Zardari regarding law and order situation of the Karachi.
On this occasion, Asif Ali Zardari said that today he has come to hold a meeting at the Chief Minister's House regarding law and order in Sindh and he will take all the stakeholders together in the restoration of law and order.
The MQM delegation assured President Asif Zardari of full cooperation in future.
On the other hand, President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari presiding over a special law & order meeting at CM House directed the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to launch a large-scale operation against street criminals in Karachi, dacoits in the Katcha area, and drug traffickers throughout the province in close coordination with other provinces.
"I have zero tolerance for the illegal occupation of lands, and it must be stopped once and for all," he firmly stated to the chief minister.
He urged the chief minister to provide a posting tenure to police officers, monitor their performance, and remove them when they fail to deliver.
Furthermore, Mr. Zardari instructed the chief minister to ensure that foreign nationals living and working in Sindh are provided with foolproof security.

He emphasized the need to particularly look after the Chinese nationals working on CPEC-related projects.
