Karachi Board Announced Revised Matric Exams 2024 schedule!

Karachi Board has announced a new schedule for Matric Exams 2024 due to extreme heat conditions.
The exams for classes 9 and 10, originally planned for May 21-27, were postponed.
The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) also delayed intermediate exams by five days.

The Karachi Board of Intermediate Education has recently made an important announcement regarding the Matric Exams 2024 schedule. This decision comes in response to the extreme heat conditions prevailing in the region.

Originally scheduled for May 21-27, the matric exams for classes 9 and 10 had to be postponed due to the anticipated heatwave in Sindh. The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BSEK) took this step to ensure the safety and well-being of students during the examination period.

Following directives from Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ali Malkani, the BSEK announced the postponement and assured students of a revised timetable. The new schedule was officially issued by the board office, providing clarity to students and educational institutions alike.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz provided reassurance by stating that there is no imminent threat of a heatwave in Karachi for the upcoming week. The active sea breeze in the city has contributed to a more comfortable climate, alleviating concerns about extreme temperatures during the exam period.
