IHC fixes pleas of PTI founder, Bursha Bibi in £190m case for hearing

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed for hearing the acquittal petitions of  Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) founder and his wife Bushra Bibi in the £190 million  reference case for hearing.

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Amer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb will hear case on October 29. The previous hearing on the acquittal petitions in the Islamabad High Court was held on October 2.

It is to be remembered that the accountability court had rejected the acquittal requests of PTI founder and Bashree Bibi. The court has restrained the trial court from passing the final decision on the reference.

Both the accused have challenged the decision of the accountability court in the Islamabad High Court.

On the other hand, a hearing was held in the District and Sessions Court on 2 cases filed against Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali Khan in which he appeared in the court.

Due to the leave of Judicial Magistrate Shehzad Khan, the hearing was adjourned till December 14 without any action.
