IHC approves PTI founder bail plea in £190m reference

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) approved Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s bail plea in the £190 million National Crime Agency (NCA) settlement reference. 

The Supreme Court issued an order to release the PTI founder on bail in the £190 million reference.

Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri reserved the verdict yesterday which was pronounced today.

The Islamabad High Court had reserved its decision after the arguments on behalf of the parties were completed.

The court delivered a brief oral verdict in open courtthe detailed verdict on the PTI founder's bail will be issued later.

The court has ordered Imran Khan to deposit a bond of 10 lakh rupees.

It should be noted that the founder of PTI is imprisoned in Adiala Jail, he cannot be released until the sentence is suspended in the Cipher and illegal Nikah case.

Earlier, Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved its verdict on Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder’s petition un the £190 million reference.

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri heard the bail plea of PTI founder Imran Khan in the £190 million reference National Crime Agency (NCA) settlement refernce.
