QUETTA: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Quetta has handed over Dr. Usman Qazi, a lecturer at BUITEMS University, to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on a 14-day remand over allegations of facilitating terrorists.
Dr. Qazi, who was arrested on August 12, was produced before the court by CTD officials today.
The court approved 14 -day physical remand of Dr Usman Qazi.
Dr. Usman Qazi, a lecturer at the University of BUITEMS, was arrested from his house on August 12 on charges of facilitating the banned outfit.
In a video statement, Dr Usman Qazi has confessed to facilitating the banned outfit in several terrorist incidents.
