ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad has reserved its judgment on the petition seeking suspension of sentence for Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the Iddat Nikah case.
Judge Afzal Majoka of the District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad heard the suspension of sentence and central appeals in the Iddat Nikah case of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. During the hearing, Khawar Maneka's lawyer Zahid Asif gave arguments.
Zahid Asif opposed the request for suspension of sentence and said that the court has to see whether the case of the appellants is for suspension of sentence or not.
The lawyer said that the facts of the interview conducted were distorted. The Khawar Maneka's son said in the same interview that the founder of PTI was not married to Bushra Bibi, this is a false allegation.
During the hearing, Judge Afzal Majoka told Khawar Maneka's lawyer that the appellants say that they were harassed after which the complaint was filed. The lawyer replied that no, there were no such circumstances. He was arrested for investigation by an investigative agency.

Later, Judge Afzal Majoka reserved judgment on the plea of suspension of sentence of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, which will be heard on June 27.
