Washington:US President Donald Trump has announced that the ceasefire between Iran and Israel is now officially in effect and has urged all parties to fully comply with the agreement and refrain from any violations.
In a statement issued on his social media platform, l, Trump stated, “The ceasefire is now active. No side should engage in any violations.”
Iran's official TV has announced the start of a ceasefire, and Israeli media has also confirmed the beginning of the ceasefire.
Iran has initiated the ceasefire, and following the announcement, citizens in Iran took to the streets to celebrate and express their joy.
According to Iran's Press TV, the ceasefire has been implemented after four attacks on Israel. The semi-official news agency Tasnim also reported the start of the ceasefire.

On the other hand, Israeli media has also confirmed the beginning of the ceasefire, but Netanyahu remains silent; he is reportedly in a state of shock.
Earlier , Trump stated that both nations will complete their ongoing missions within the next six hours. The conflict will be considered officially over within the following 12 hours.
According to Trump, Iran will initiate the ceasefire, followed by Israel 12 hours later. The formal end to what he called the "12-day war" will be declared 24 hours after the initial ceasefire begins.
"The world will appreciate this," Trump added, expressing optimism that the ceasefire will be welcomed globally as a move toward peace in the region.
Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei took to social media to highlight the enduring spirit of the Iranian people. In his recent tweet, Khamenei stated, “Those who know the Iranian people and their history know that the Iranian nation isn’t a nation that surrenders.”
