Will Jonathan majors return to the MCU & “Creed” franchise after legal battle? Details revealed

  • Majors expressed interest in returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite his 2023 assault conviction.
  • He expressed a positive outlook on returning to both franchises, stating he would approach his characters differently.
  • Majors' fame soared after Thanos' defeat in "Avengers: Endgame".
Jonathan Majors recently opened up about the possibility of returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reprising his role in the “Creed” franchise.

His 2023 assault conviction sparked controversy and significantly impacted his career.

In a conversation, the interviewer asked Majors if he would consider rejoining Marvel Studios and stepping back into the ring with Michael B. Jordan.

Jonathan Majors expressed a positive outlook on returning to both franchises, stating, "The version of me that would come back to those places, though, would be different"

The “Lovecraft Country” actor stated that while he doesn’t anticipate a major shift between "action" and "cut," he would approach his characters differently if given the opportunity.

"But as I said, I don’t control that," Majors concluded.

In 2023, a court found “The Harder They Fall” actor guilty of two misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. At the time, Majors' fame was skyrocketing as Marvel positioned him as the next major villain in the MCU after Thanos’ defeat in ”Avengers: Endgame”.

Majors played Kang the Conqueror in multiple Marvel Studios projects while also starring alongside Michael B. Jordan in “Creed III”.

Now, as he prepares for his return to the big screen in the indie film “Magazine Dreams”, “Just Mercy” star Michael B. Jordan has shown interest in bringing Majors back for “Creed IV”.
