Disney’s legendary Muppet Show makes a glorious comeback, promising a whirlwind of zany antics, toe-tapping tunes, and unforgettable puppetry.

Fans can expect Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the entire Muppet gang to reignite the magic, mischief, and hilarity that made them an international sensation.

Set to premiere on February 4, the special will stream globally on Disney+ and air on ABC, delivering a musical-comedy extravaganza that blends nostalgia with fresh, modern humor.

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter takes the spotlight as the main guest, joined by Maya Rudolph, while Seth Rogen steps in as both executive producer and surprise guest, ensuring riotous fun and clever twists.

Created by Jim Henson, The Muppet Show first delighted audiences from 1976 to 1981, captivating over 100 countries with its quirky sketches and memorable characters.

Legendary stars like Elton John, Diana Ross, Johnny Cash, and Liza Minnelli graced the stage, and the show racked up prestigious accolades including Emmy, Grammy, Peabody, and BAFTA awards.

The new production, directed by Alex Timbers and produced by 20th Television, Disney Branded Television, The Muppets Studio, and Point Grey Pictures, keeps the original puppeteersB ill Barretta, Dave Goelz, Eric Jacobson, and Matt Vogel on board, promising the same heart, humor, and chaos that fans adore.

As the franchise approaches its 50th anniversary in 2026, this revival invites both longtime fans and newcomers to immerse themselves in a world of musical mayhem, laugh-out-loud antics, and puppetry brilliance. With all five original seasons available on Disney+, viewers can revisit the classics before the brand-new special hits screens.

The show debuts at 12:00 am PST / 3:00 am EST on Disney+, followed by a primetime ABC broadcast at 9:00 pm EST/PST, guaranteeing a rollercoaster of laughter, music, and mischief straight from the iconic Muppet Theatre.
