In a recent interview with “Vulture” titled “Matthew Modine Doesn’t Think His Stranger Things Time Is Up”, the “Full Metal Jacket” star suggested that his character might not be as dead as he appeared in “Stranger Things” Season 4 – Part 2.
“I wouldn’t want him to be dead,” Modine stated right before he played with the brains of the fans.
The *Married to the Mob* actor raised the question, “How did he [Brenner] survive the Demogorgon? How did he survive One?”
Modine also shared his thoughts on a key moment involving Eleven, recalling when she used her powers to send three guards flying into the air. His character, however, managed to thwart her, remarking, “You didn’t think it was going to be that easy, did you?”
The “The Dark Knight Rises” actor also pointed out that Eleven couldn't use her powers against Papa, suggesting that Dr. Brenner might have something more "than meets the eye."
