Shakira, currently on her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour, was hospitalized due to an abdominal issue, leading to the postponement of her concert in Peru. The 48-year-old singer shared the news on social media, revealing that she had to visit the emergency room on Saturday night and remains under medical care.

In a message posted on X, Shakira expressed her regret over the cancellation. "I am sorry to inform you all that last night I had to go to the ER for an abdominal issue and am currently hospitalized," she wrote. Doctors advised against her performing, stating that she was not in the right condition to take the stage.

Shakira admitted the postponement deeply saddened her, as she had been eager to perform for her fans in Peru. Assuring them that a new date was being arranged, she said, "I love you all, and I appreciate your understanding."

Despite the setback, the Hips Don’t Lie singer remains optimistic and hopes to be discharged by Monday. If her recovery goes as planned, she aims to perform in Peru that evening before heading to Colombia. Meanwhile, her tour has sparked comparisons to Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour due to stage design similarities. However, Shakira continues to receive strong support from her fans worldwide.
