Jennie of BLACKPINK is drawing major attention after reports revealed that she received more than 20 billion won in payments
Over the past two years through her self-founded agency, OA Entertainment.
According to a recent audit report released on May 9 through South Korea’s Financial Supervisory Service, Jennie was paid around 9.5 billion won last year.
Along with 14.3 billion won reportedly received in 2024, her total earnings through the company reached nearly 23.8 billion won, equal to about $16 million.
Jennie launched OA Entertainment, also known as Odd Atelier, in November 2023 after ending her exclusive individual contract with YG Entertainment.
The company was created as a space focused on creativity and originality.
Reports also revealed that Jennie fully owns the agency, while her mother serves as its head.
While continuing group activities with BLACKPINK under YG Entertainment, Jennie now manages her solo career independently through OA Entertainment.
The agency handles her advertisements, solo music promotions, performances, and other personal projects.
The company also showed strong financial growth in its early years.
OA Entertainment reportedly earned 18.9 billion won in revenue during its first year and later increased revenue to 23.8 billion won last year.
Although operating profits slightly decreased because of higher expenses such as salaries and commission fees, the company still remained profitable.
Jennie’s growing global popularity has continued beyond music.
Her solo album “Ruby” gained strong international attention, and she was recently included in Time magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people.
She also made headlines after appearing at the Met Gala 2026 in New York.
