A new controversy has emerged in the Punjabi music industry as AP Dhillon claimed that Diljit Dosanjh had blocked him on Instagram—a claim that Diljit has denied. The exchange comes shortly after Diljit gave a shoutout to both AP Dhillon and Karan Aujla during one of his concerts.

During a Chandigarh concert, AP Dhillon addressed the situation, saying, “First, unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me. I don’t want to talk about what marketing is happening, but first unblock me. I’ve been working for three years. Have you ever seen me in any controversy?”

In response, Diljit took to Instagram to refute the claim, stating, “I never blocked you. Mere pange sarkaaran naal ho sakde aa....kalaakaran naal ni (My issues could be with the government…not with the artists).” However, AP Dhillon later shared screen recordings that appeared to show he was able to access Diljit’s Instagram profile only after being unblocked, intensifying the debate.

Amid this turmoil, singer-rapper Badshah shared a cryptic post emphasizing unity in the music industry. Without naming anyone, he wrote, “Please don’t make the mistakes that we made. The world is ours for the taking. Like they say, ‘If you wanna go fast, go alone, but if you wanna go far, go together. United we stand.’”

Badshah’s message is particularly poignant, as he reconciled earlier this year with Honey Singh after years of public feuding. During a performance, Badshah admitted, “There was a phase in my life where I held this grudge...but now, I want to call it quits and leave that grudge behind.”
