The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) website states that "Singham Again", set to release during Diwali, has received a U/A rating. The movie has been certified for 144 minutes (2 hours and 24 minutes).
In addition to Ajay Devgn, the action film boasts a stellar cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
Looking at the previous films in the Cop Universe, the first installment, “Singham” (2011), led by Ajay Devgn, had a runtime of approximately 2 hours and 23 minutes. “Singham Returns”, released in 2014, ran for 2 hours and 22 minutes. In 2018, “Simmba”, starring Ranveer Singh in the titular role, had a longer runtime of 2 hours and 38 minutes. Akshay Kumar’s “Sooryavanshi” (2021) lasted 2 hours and 25 minutes.
In “Singham Again”, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar will reprise their iconic roles from previous installments. Deepika Padukone will make her debut as Shakti Shetty, also known as Lady Singham. Tiger Shroff will appear as Satya, while Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff will take on negative roles.
A source close to the development exclusively told Pinkvilla, “It’s a mega-collaboration, and the newest addition to his fabled cop-universe is Chulbul Pandey. While Singham Again will have a small glimpse of Chulbul Pandey, the future timeline of Rohit’s cop universe will feature him in a full-fledged avatar.”
