In a significant development for consumers, solar panel prices have dropped substantially across the country, making renewable energy more affordable.
Recent reports show that prices for solar systems ranging from 5 to 15 kilowatts have decreased by up to Rs300,000.
New price points for various solar setups have been established. A 5-kilowatt system is now priced at Rs650,000, while a 7-kilowatt system is available for Rs725,000.
Larger systems have also seen price reductions, with the 10-kilowatt system now costing Rs950,000 and the 12-kilowatt system priced at Rs1.1 million. The price for a 15-kilowatt system has been fixed at Rs1.25 million.
