KARACHI: The gold rate in Pakistan further decreased by Rs. 300 to Rs276,700 per tola in the local market on Friday (Sept 27).
The price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs256 to Rs237,226, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, the gold price had risen by Rs1,500, settling at Rs277,000.
Meanwhile, the international gold price declined on Friday, with APGJSA stating it was $2,663 per ounce (including a $20 premium), down $2 during the day.
On Thursday, gold prices reached an all-time high of Rs277,000 per tola in Pakistan.
