The gold rate in Pakistan further decreased by Rs700 to Rs275,000 per tola in the local market on Monday (Jan 6).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs600, reaching Rs235,768, as per the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs1,200, settling at Rs275,700.
The international gold price also saw a decline on Monday. According to APGJSA, the rate stood at $2,632 per ounce, with a premium of $20, marking a drop of $7 during the day.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola.
