ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs2,900, reaching Rs280,800 on Wednesday, up from Rs277,900 on the previous trading day, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,487, reaching Rs240,741, compared to Rs238,254 on the previous day. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold also climbed to Rs220,679, from Rs218,400.
The prices for silver remained stable, with the cost of per tola silver at Rs3,350 and the price for 10 grams at Rs2,872.08.
On the international front, gold prices fell by $29, moving from $2,661 to $2,690, according to the association's report.
