Under the refundable option, families will be able to pay Rs8,300 per month for a period of 36 months. In contrast, the non-refundable option requires no payment at all, making solar power accessible even for the most vulnerable households.
The solar project will be carried out under a structured plan designed to ensure transparency and efficiency. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will be responsible for identifying and selecting eligible beneficiaries so that the solar systems are provided to those who truly need them.
The Bank of Khyber will manage the selection of vendors and supervise the procurement and supply of solar equipment. PADO will provide technical support, including installation, maintenance, and system monitoring, to make sure each solar unit works properly.
The project will operate under the financial framework of the Bank of Khyber, which will manage funding, payments, and overall project coordination, ensuring smooth and effective implementation across all selected districts.
